4. Solar roof: Elon Musk’s company has designed an alternative to a conventional roof, which, some people, who have decided to replace, instead of repair, the existing one, might make sense! This system, uses special solar tiles, which are used to provide solar energy, to reduce overall energy costs, while being far more renewable sources. This was considered, previously, to be somewhat prohibitive, in terms of costs, but, in the past few years, the overall costs of these, is now, about the same as a better, conventional roof.
