Holidaying is a real pleasure for any individual, but for kids it is an extravaganza of enjoyment. The time has come to wind up the schoolwork. Drench in the pouring rain of fun and frolic. Penang is a perfect piece of cake for your kids as well as you. With enormous beach activities and electrifying fun activities your younger ones can enjoy a thorough vacation in Penang.

Penang Hill

“Bukit Bendera” is how they have named the 830m high mountain. Hiking up the hill is a wise idea to escape from the sunny clouds of George Town. There is a funicular train which hikes up to the apex in less than fifteen minutes. The train is fanciful and designed in such a way that your kids will love to take up the ride. The train reaches the peak crossing the small village, the forest and a spectacular tunnel. The cliff rail will be an exotic expedition for your kids as well as you.

You can notice a playground on the top of the hill where your kids can swing or slide. There are some local stalls selling rice and ice cream which taste pretty good. There is a small bird park where a finite number of colorful birds reside. Upon the summit you can find an elegant Hindu temple and a mosque. You can also try out the Canopy Walk which is free of cost.

Coastal Fun

A trip to Penang is incomplete without trying out the ferry ride. Kids have a great liking towards water and they love to play in it. Let your kiddies inside the ferry to relish the actual adventure of beach. Or hoist a couple of poles, tie the net and enjoy playing beach volleyball with your entire family.

Penang Toy Museum

The museum consists of a discrete collection of rare toys depicting cartoon and comic characters, and superheroes. There are thousands of unusual toys displayed on the shelves of the museum. This is a wonderland for children as well as adults who love comic and cartoon.

Penang Butterfly Farm

Won’t your kids love butterflies sitting on their heads and hands?

Give them a chance to see the rainbow winged butterflies waving around them. You can see a solid number of other creatures too. See various species of insects, bugs, frogs, reptiles, aqua organisms, etc. This place is not only a butterfly park but also a research and development center.

Snake Temple

Have you and your kids watched venomous vipers outside the glass boxes? Come here and drive out with a sense of curiosity. You can watch snakes clinging to trees in the temple garden. This is not a sanctuary or zoo, but is actually a religious place where you can find enormous poisonous snakes spiraled on the branches of the trees. This will be an unusual experience for your broods. There is a snake pool behind the temple meant for prayers, and the locals believe that the snakes are devotional spirits. It seems that the snakes have ever bitten anyone, but still it is our duty to take care of our little ones.
